Dolphin Web Browser App Reviews

They asked for 5 star, I would have give it a 4 star because it isnt just "knock my socks off" awesome, though it is great. I have yet to find a file I can download, as I dont want to save images to my camera roll. Im sure Ill find it, but havent currently. It is fast, and easy to navigate. What else could you ask for?

Havent found a single issue with it so far and its been a few months. Plays YouTube while screen is locked and off on my iPhone 5s. And the ad block? Amazing. Havent had to watch a single add yet while using Dolphin. 5 star Recommendation.

The browser allows you to listen to videos in the background, similar to music, which is a very nice touch. Im glad I found this app!

Enjoying the browser & all the different features.

Honestly, I do like the customization of this web browser. I like the features it has to offer. But, I had two main issues. The first issue is the app crashing. It crashed TWICE within an hour. I wasnt on the app for more than an hour or two and it crashed and I have no idea why. The second issue is that I cant tell if Im browsing publicly or privately. What I suggest you do is add some kind of indication that Im browsing privately thats obvious. Overall, this app is a bit of an update from Safari. ANOTHER thing preventing me from giving this app 5 stars is that they bribe people with free in-app purchases (worth about $9) for giving them a 5 star rating. This is MALARKEY. I dont even think the paid themes for the browser are even any good! So, trust the people who are telling it to you straight rather than people who are just 5 star reviewing for the themes. For the reasons listed above, I am giving this app a rating of 4 stars.

Thats the only word that comes to mind in regards to this brilliant accessory for socializing with humanity. Gloriously do i browse my feed. Exhilarated do i feel when I explore the multitude of utilities. Safe is a major central theme to describe the security feats installed on this magnificent app.

Inserts ads into nav bar suggestions (are you snooping everything we type?). Pleads for positive reviews, and inserts speed dial spam. Never forget: for more than a week around thanksgiving this app hijacked launch with a full screen ad that danced around. You have been warned

This is a very good browser and the security feature is a great feature -- keeps the little hands away from the shortcuts for sales/purchasing websites (Amazon, etc.) I use and some of those that are not child friendly. Would like some features like folders for categories of browser shortcuts.

Compared to chrome, dolphin works much better even when chrome or google freezes or cannot get access to the internet. I dont know why, but I am often saved by dolphin.

Has adblock built in which is always a plus

Dont trust the star rating on this app. They offer to give you free in app purchases (themes worth a few bucks) for a five star review. Via pop-up. Incessantly. Dishonest and annoying. Its a shame too, because the browser itself seems to work well and has some nice features. Native adblock and gestures are two particularly noteworthy ones. I havent had any compatibility issues either. But, I respond poorly to bribery attempts, so one star.

Never forget: for more than a week around thanksgiving a full screen ad danced around the screen on every launch. This was eventually turned off server side- but this company has, and will sell-out its users. You are the product

Toss Safari and ride the Dolphin!
