Dolphin Web Browser App Reviews

Updated 12/6/16: force closes every time I try and print from the browser. Please fix and it will be a 5star app again. Old 5/5 review: Great features, very fast, and easy to use. Far better than any other browser Ive tried.

My Device have 16gb. Anhd Dolphin used <800mb of storage. What about that?. Previously, its not take so much

The FAQ is outdated. I cannot properly change my user string. I am still forced into mobile sites after logging into some sites. Unacceptable. Waste of my time downloading this junk

Paid reviews for a horrible app. Ad block? It doesnt even block anything. DONT BOTHER WITH THIS APP

Loaded with ads, and I got an "infected with virus" pop up 5 minutes in... AVOID

Very fast and very good downloader for iPhone pluse lots features including disabling imgs.love it

It doesnt save ANY of my preference settings no matter how often I change them and lately it had taken to crashing pretty frequently. It used to be more stable than safari, but Im tired of always having to search in Yahoo no matter how many times I set it to Google, and then having it crash once I actually get to the page I like. Not only that, but it doesnt keep any of the dolphin gestures I create so I cant even utilize the cool features it advertises. If it actually worked, I would love this browser. Sadly, Ive given up hope for it.

Scrolling is horrendous in dolphin browser. Super choppy all the time. Mainly on sites that use a mobile site. But those same sites work just fine in safari. Also, another HUGE annoyance is that when doing a google image search, when you turn your phone sideways into landscape mode, the stupid top and bottom navigation bars wont go away!

I used to be able to have websites open in this browser and close it then reopen it later and still have those sites available. After the last few updates the browser does not keep the websites available for me to go back to later. This has made this browser useless for me.

Private mode is not clearing cookies. My search terms in google are still being remembered in private mode until I run clear data in settings.

Every 3 or 4 tabs it freeze and search function has this initial paid and lag before it goes through.

This browser is good but it needs a little work. When the app is closed, password protected and in private mode I could still see the last opened page I viewed in the app switcher.

IOS 10.2 has broken this app for me... It never has crashed so much after this update... Please help! Just browsing crashed the app, cant overload the app... Please find away to fix it, thanks.

I loved this browser. But lately it keeps trying to take me to an amazon payments screen for no reason. Ill click on a normal link I used to be able to use fine and it brings me to amazon payments. and its not just the one link, it happens all the time now. Makes this a pain to use

Up until I realised I cant use the screen gestures like left swiping on the side to take me to a previous page, it opens bookmarks instead of taking you back and thats a killer for me. Would of been the greatest browser experience Ive had if that feature still work for this browser. (iPhone 7 Plus)

The best browser ever seen...

Idk why but this app keeps downloading onto my phone and I dont even know what it is. It could be because if all the accounts I have hooked up to my Apple ID but I dont want the app on my phone.

This is my first rating and after using Dolphin I had to give it 5 stars

Cramming ads down users throats. Back to safari with content blockers. * Speed dial spam keeps reappearing with tracked URLs. Deleted it? It comes back! * URL bar spam using paid domains that dont match (start typing "rottentomatoes" and youll see) Never forget: For more than a week around thanksgiving, on every start up, a forced ad covered full screen and danced around. Be warned it can be turned on again at any time server side--developers have the capability and willingness to sell out their users.

At first this was, hands down, the best browser on the App Store. It was fast, reliable, didnt crash, and it didnt take up any space. Now it crashes, doesnt load searched images, and takes forever to load pages. Not sure what you guys did to the app, but Ive switched to another browser.
